Any plans to travel a bit further afield..?
I picked up a copy of Hopeless Romantic at Wordsworth’s home in Cockermouth. It made me laugh, then it made me cry, then it made me laugh again. Sat at holiday digs in Keswick, looking up at Skiddaw, which I haven’t climbed yet. I feel inspired to climb Helvellyn having read your poem. I’ll be the sweaty bint with her head in her legs but will possibly be crying …. this b*****rd has beaten me! 🤣😂😅😁
Liane, this is such a nice message. The fact that you picked up my book on holiday and really enjoyed it means the absolute world. I hope you had/are having a brilliant time.
